Election Day Reminders

CPP Fellows.jpgThe Center for Political Participation reminds everyone to vote. Rides to the polls will depart from the top of Brooks Walk every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Vote at the polling place indicated on your voter registration card, which will correspond to where you lived when you registered to vote, not necessarily where you live now. If you registered but did not receive a registration card, you may cast a provisional ballot at the polling place that corresponds to where you were living when you registered. Most students will vote at one of the following polling places:

Grace Methodist Church – Ward 1/Precinct 1 – Allegheny Hall, Baldwin Hall, and Schultz Hall
Wesbury – Ward 1/Precinct 2 – Theta Chi, Brooks (with a handful of exceptions), and Walker/Walker Annex
First Christian Church on North Main Street – Ward 2/Precinct 3 – Caflisch, College Court, Crawford, Delta Tau Delta, Edwards, Phi Kappa Psi, North Village, Ravine, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Remember to bring a Photo ID when you vote (recommended: PA Drivers License and/or Allegheny Student ID).

CPP volunteers stationed at Lord Gates to coordinate rides to the polls will have a printout of new registrants and their voting locations for those who are unsure where to vote.

Election Night Extravaganza
Watch the results come in tonight in the Campus Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. There will be free food (starting at 8 p.m.), music, games, prizes, and, of course, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be with hundreds of Alleghenians as America turns the final page of this historic election saga. The event is sponsored by the College Democrats, College Republicans, and the CPP.
